I love the new weapons added but I feel the classic designs should be respected and kept in the game in addition to the new weapons

In fairness they’ve kept the Reach AR & the H2 BR, plus the magnum is still there.

I’ll be surprised if the OG shotgun isn’t in there too.

I’ll try and find the links, but I believe it was seen on the hip of a marine in the gameplay trailer, and also appears to come with Chief in this toy reveal.

It’s the Reach style magnum.

Its a trailer of a new game, it’s meant to show new things. Some of the weapon pickups looked like there might be weapon varients in the campaign.
