So i ear a lot of insider “crying” about the fact they can’t play with classic sound, but before submitting ticket and posting this in the flight suggestion you should just take a look at the option in the campaign because YOU CAN choose classic and and classic graphism, you can also do a mix with classic sound and remastered graphism and this work fine so would love to never see again insider asking this x)
That’s only a very recent development. Earlier in the flight a lot of remastered sound effects (plasma weaponry in particular) got mixed in with classic so at best you had to deal with a mix of both new and old audio.
In the latest flight build of HCE, you can select either classic or anniversary soundsets for multiplayer in the audio settings. This will roll out for Xbox One also once the PC HCE version launches. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer.
