FROM WHAT WE CAN TELL FROM THE VIDOC: Halo’s new score system will be based on the call of duty score system, each kill will be worth points, and so will assists and headshots etc. assist= 5, headshot=5
Bad bad bad. This will make team slayer games less like team slayer games. In slayer, the main objective and only objective is to have more kills than your opponent. With a wacky scoring system, you could possibly lose a slayer game while having more kills. That would be a big fail…
I’m sure we’ll be able to have settings for both strictly kill-based scoring systems and objective/point-based scoring systems. Personally, it’s a welcome addition for me.
well so far im not very happy as this game is going towards call of duty’s style
-weapon perks means no one is going to start even
-weapon locators: kinda stupid
-its not a game type as it says “br slayer” which is just slayer with the br. so thats probably the default
If it is just a gametype it could be interesting, especially if they allocate the points well, according to the skill required to to get each medal. It would be fun to be rewarded for going on a frenzy other than just the 10 kills you got.
If it is the main scoring system, I will not buy H4.
I have a feeling it ties into the progression system.
WAT IF THEY HAD THE SCORE TO UNLIMITED, because you know id would be tedious restarting every single match and since there is not beta this makes sense
Its most likely a gametype lol.
Id still enjoy multiplayer regardless tho but if it was the default id just buy halo 4 for the story and the multiplayer for when im bored.
Its stupid how a scoring system would be the deciding factor for you whether or not you buy the game i still like shooting people up and being a better player regardless of how its scored.
it’s not too different from reach’s XP gaining. just more detailed on where your XP is coming from. however it would be annoying if it shows the points every time like cod does.

So… You won’t buy Halo 4 because points are shown differently and you get points for different things? Well then… Your loss mate…
