The new rocket… 343 why was it necessary to change it’s design. It was an iconic, classic symbol of halo. Please bring it back, at least as an alternative skin like the infection sword.
I cant be alone on this, anyone else want it back?

Agreed. I think this is what they’re actually doing.
I don’t care. The old rocket launcher is bulky and huge. It doesn’t look militaristic or futuristic really.
But you still have the iconic other weapons like AR and BR. But really, who cares about icons in new games?

That’s why the old rocket launcher was awesome, it had a special charm to it with its old science fiction feel to it. Also, icons show the games roots, imagine having chief change his iconic helmet to the new default armor. It just wouldn’t feel right.

Iconic? I wouldn’t say that at all.
Has the new rocket launcher replaced the classic one? Why would they replace it with something that looks like a SMAW? Halo is more than five bloody centuries in the future.

According to flame’s video it holds two rockets and fires in a straight line. Unless there’s some hidden difference all signs point to it being a reskin instead of a new weapon.

I thought it was pretty evident it was gonna be the same rocket launcher, since we’ve never had 2 UNSC rocket type weapons before lol
but they coulda surprised us for changing it’s design
Every time I see something new about halo 5 It seems to make me cringe. why change iconic weapons? Do they not want halo to look like oh idk HALO???
