if you’re going to play halo 5 without Spartan abilities with weapons from past halos on maps made to look like past halos, why not just play the MCC? You literally have everything you mentioned there. In HD 60 fps.

For some people MCC is perhaps too buggy. I recently had to uninstall and reinstall ODST for MCC, because loading up a level in ODST gave me a completely black screen. I could shoot and move and stuff, but couldn’t see anything.

I personally don’t understand: halo 5 is its own game, you either like it or you don’t. I don’t see why 343 should have to build a playlist for those that don’t like the game. You don’t see other games having a playlist that pays homage to the game that came out 2 versions ago.
Granted, I happen to like halo 5 multiplayer so it’s easy for me to say these things as I don’t long for halo’s yesteryear.

I wouldn’t call them dead. Recently I was matched into a game of BTB in about 30 seconds. Then, of course, somebody left the lobby a split-second after the maps came up for voting, thus breaking the lobby. I had to back out, then go back in, then back out because matchmaking wasn’t working, then go back in, and I think I was matched in a little over a minute.

If the MCC worked as it should’ve from the start, I’d still be playing it. It’s really a lot of fun, but so much of the population gave up.

Ditto, it saddens me that such great games are practically unplayable. I only hit up MCC for the campaigns.
Op; I would totes play a “classic mode” I have a few forged versions of old maps and I love them.
