Hello all,
I heard that custom games will allow players to disable sprint and all of the new abilities. Has there been any talk of a classic playlist for all of us who love the old formula of halo and want the chance to experience that with the next-gen capabilities of Halo 5? I feel as if having a classic multiplayer playlist will attract many of the veterans who aren’t necessarily big fans of the new abilities and such.
Good idea. I would say have a team slayer and BTB version.
evilbrothers4 yeah and perhaps an objective playlist. 3 classic playlists would be generous, but I think it would bring significantly more players online, and increase the multiplayer’s longevity.
I feel like those that don’t like the new formula should just play without using those features. They could play without sprinting, ground pounding, thrusting, etc.
uss galactica the problem with that is that the players are at a disadvantage if they choose to not use the features. I just feel that it would be appropriate that 343 includes at least a playlist or two that really sticks to the old formula and encourages the classic techniques and ways of teamwork. Many people that I play with competitively on Halo 2 and 3 have told me they aren’t buying Halo 5 strictly because it has changed too much for their enjoyment. So if 343 were to include some classic playlists, I think they would sell more games and keep the multiplayer alive longer.
I would play it if they added this.
