Would you want a classic playstyle/ playlist in Halo 5 without Spartan Abilities, Sprint, and ADS? Not unlike the gameplay of Halo 3, which I believe was Halo at the peak. Not that there is anything wrong with Halo 2 [aside from grenade spams, the crap SMG, and a few other things]. I just think Halo 3 was better, so that’s the example here. And I think it was more popular, but I didn’t have XBL during Halo 2 so I wouldn’t know.

For future reference here is how to make a poll. Not particularly. I have a whole game sitting next to my 360 where I can play any multiplayer from CE-4 with the simple switch of a disk. I also have reach downloaded and backwards compatible. The classic playlist seems unnecessary to me since that is the case. It wouldn’t bother me if they added one…I just don’t see the point myself. I would like to see more temporary throwback playlists. The CE one was a blast.

Anyway, I figured most people don’t want to go to the game that shall not be named [because it is still broken or underpopulated] and it isn’t unlikely that people like myself don’t have their 360 anymore. You haven’t truly experienced Halo until you’ve played that classic arena style gameplay from the original trilogy.

Depends if the CGB is what is what I imagine it to be, a kind of BF4 server browser thing.
343 may demonstrate it in one of the videos that they’re making about the update content.
Would be awesome to get one in place.

Poll and way point changes.Updated forum rules. They both happened at the same time so you might want to familiarize yourself with them.
I was there. I have fond memories of all the halos. MCC being under populated may be the case, when I’ve browsed through the MCC section lately that seems to be the case. It is functional though, not perfect but functional. The classic playlist has a few other problems in that it seems likely that a classic playlist would piss off everyone who believed it should be based on a different halo than it was (I.E. if you base it on 2, the CE and 3 fans will be annoyed.) That there would be a pretty heavy element of ‘that isn’t classic enough.’ as things that likely couldn’t be changed without massive reworking weren’t. And if MCC a game that has all the classic gameplay available isn’t populated, it seems a bit odd to assume that a classic playlist would be heavily and continuously populated.
I personally don’t care either way, if they add it I look forward to the posts arguing about it. If they don’t I look forward to the posts whining about it. I’m still in the position where if I feel the urge to play Halo 3 or CE I can just change discs. I’d like to get some interest in an MCC night for the waypoint community customs nights, but when I’ve mentioned it and asked for some good game type links I didn’t receive a lot of response.
