Today my brother was fooling around in forge and combining weapons. He choose Nornfang, then changed the base weapon to the brute plasma rifle(Scale of sorapit).
What I got was a sangheili plasma rifle that looked slightly damaged.
I think it could possibly be a weapon they add in a future update, then again it’s only speculation.
Yeah, I’ve seen this weapon model before. It definitely looks awesome.
Hopefully they add it at some point.
That’s the Brute Plasma Rifle with the texture of the Plasma Pistol on it. Since the textures for the Plasma Pistol aren’t designed to fit over the Plasma Rifle model (for obvious reasons), it turns out the way you saw there.

This. Oddly enough, being stretched so far forms weird scarring patterns.

I know what I’m talking about, I discovered this on the first day of the patch’s release. The information isn’t false at all, which you would know if you, you know, did some actual research instead of claiming that I don’t know what I’m talking about. Of course it’s not going to look like the Plasma Pistol skin, because it wasn’t designed to fit the Plasma Rifle’s model. That’s how bad textures work. It’s not like “Oh, the Plasma Rifle looks exactly like a Plasma Pistol, since it’s using a different texture”.
