Will you be playing halo: ce anniversary in the classic or remastered mode? or will you be switching like 343 has shown is possible? personally i think i will play in classic first since i own reach, halo 2, and halo 3 but not ce so i wanted to experience the full original campaign first. also i think master chief looks kinda weird in the remastered engine
Remastered. I can play vanilla Halo CE any time I want right now.
I’ve been playing “classic” for 10 years now, I won’t be using it.
I’ll be doing my first playthough in Anniversary mode. I can play classic any time I want.
That being said, a though just occured: What do you think the chances are that there’s an achievement for switching between anniversary and classic mode?

Probably something like “Switch once per level.” If so I’ll do it for the achievement, but I’m going to spend the whole time in the anniversary version. We’re all buying this for the remastered campaign, so I want to play through it.
Remastered, that’s why we are all buying this game. Also, whats the deal with the skulls, achievements, and terminals we’re supposed to find? Is exclusive when you switch to remastered, or do you think they can all be found/unlocked when you switch to classic as well?

From what I’ve read it sounds like the terminals and new easter eggs are only findable when playing the remastered version. We’re still not sure if we have to find the skulls like in 2 and 3 or if we automatically get all of them, like in Reach.
Personally, I plan on playing all the way through on remastered without switching to classic at all first.
Remastered. Classic is gross.
Well either way, there will be skulls since pre ordering the game gets you the Grunt Funeral Skull. It would be weird to only have that one skull.

Remastered, though at various points I will be switching back to classic, just to see how much things have changed.
> also i think master chief looks kinda weird in the remastered engine
It’s been fixed.
And I’ll definitely be playing on Remastered mode the majority of the time, although I probably won’t be able to resist toggling back and forth to see what’s changed even during my first playthrough.
Remastered obviously. Well until we hit 343 Guilty Spark, needs more fog though it looks really good from that one video showcasing it.

1st run: Primarily new graphics with VERY frequent switching to marvel at the differences.
2nd run: New only.
At this point I’m going to play through the original H:CE.
3rd run: Old graphics only to compare the game with the original.
I’m playing trough CE right now so the story and look/feel will still be fresh on my mind. When Anniversary comes out Ill play through the remastered version, momentarily switching back to classic to marvel at the new changes throughout the campaign.
I’ll switch back and forwards to see how things looked ten years ago, although, when I’m actually playing, I’ll keep it in the remastered mode.
I think I’ll be using both.
Remastered. Classic got dull to me a long time ago which is why I rarely play CE. Although I would prefer having remastered levels with classic bipeds (I want marines with the green eye thing, not Reach troopers and Elites that look like CE Elites or CE-H3 hybrids).
Played classic too much to even think about playing through it again - especially with re-mastered graphics at my disposal. In fact, I don’t even think I need to switch back to classic mode to remember what it even looked like before :p.
