After looking at all the fan made remakes of the classic halo maps, it makes me wonder why 343 doesn’t implement some sort of Classic mode. Maybe just a random pick of top rated fan-made remakes without thrusting, spartan abilities, etc. integrated into matchmaking? I think it would bring a lot of people back to Halo 5.
It would work but is highly doubtful it would come. It’s either classic or Modern Halo. No middle way.
A lot of people don’t want to admit that Halo 5 has relatively low population. Adding that sort of playlist which could have major attraction to some active players may depopulate other lobbies. I think it’d be cool though, I know a lot of customs run through the classic maps pretty often.

I’m playing MCC right now. I would really love a classic mode. All the abilities and the speed of everything kinda gets frustrating in halo 5.
I might take a look at some of the classic maps and see if I can grab a classic playlist option, it’s just a shame 343 won’t provide the community with a classic playlist option. I for one would love to play some old school halo.
