Is it possible to get the helmets without paying for the dlc, like through packs?

I agree in a far more general sense. Way back when h5 wasn’t launched yet there was a special someone who said all reqs will eventually be in the req system. I’m still waiting. And OP you may have to wait too or grind the rp to obtain these limited time packs, like the classic helmet pack.

Nope. You must obtain them through the exclusive pack with a payment of $10 through the Microsoft Store.

Not that I know of, just ensure you have enough req points for the next time the pack comes out.

Right now it’s $10 only but be patient they said it would eventually be offered again for points or money.

I hope Halo 6 handles this better in Halo 6. The overall REQ system is solid, as it doesn’t affect arena gameplay in any way. However, I would like to have a bit more control on what, specifically, I buy with real money and / or REQ.

Can’t you buy it still from the Xbox live store for $10? I would just wait till it comes back into the game, because then you can purchase it with REQ points. However still save up those REQ points!

To my knowledge you can still buy most of the packs from the xbox store only for whatever price they released at. just save up your RP for when they come out again though. If you are not finished with your gold packs, just wait until the packs release, play firefight for a weekend and you will have earned plenty of RP to purchase the pack

Except the req system is probably the reason why Halo 5’s BTB got the shaft

True. Which hurts, because it is (basically) the only arena I play.

I think a ‘pay to win’ system would kill Halo arena. I’m thankful it isn’t ‘that’, yet…
