Provided plans don’t change, the classic helmets are set to launch on February 9th and they will be available with both REQ Points and cash.

They mentioned that they will be in a “classic helmets pack”. So we could assume like any special pack, it will cost about 80’000rp or $10 for a pack. A pack will most likely contain 2 of the helmets, since in each special pack previously available has only given 2 exclusive customization items (unless you have all REQS, just like the spartan’s armory pack).

If it’s like the spartan’s armory pack (which I assume it will be), then there will be 5 item slots. 2 will contain the new helmets, and the other 3 will have a rare-or-higher armor piece. And if you already have all of the REQS unlocked, then you would receive 5 helmets per pack.

I think due to there being 9 helmets they will unlock 3 to a pack with 2 other random unlocks if available.

They should just be added into the req pool normally. Not in any special packs…
A total of 35000 RP will be required to buy all the helmets through normal REQ packs.
2 1/2 Gold, and 2 Silvers.
I would rather them be in the regular loot pool, as others have said. It would be kind of odd for them to have their own exclusive pack, as their hasn’t been a permanent pack like this before. Such packs have always been around for only a limited amount of time, which would be concerning if that was the case for these.

Honestly each of these helmets should be exluded from the Req system entirely and put onto certain achievements making them truly “classic” helmets.

If this was January of last year, maybe. It’s too little too late for that now.
I’m exited for the release sadly it comes out 2 days after I ship out for BMT. I’ll be grinding a few hundred thousand req points to binge buy the packs for when I can play again. Pilot, Mark IV will be mine

They would have to make new achievements I doubt that would happen. Save up a few hundred thousand points and get ready to buy lol. I’m not fan of this system eithier but take what you get I say

They wouldn’t have to make new achievements at all, just link the helmets to existing achievements.

But that wouldn’t make sense? IMO at least. Kill the hunter achievements welp here is military place for ya. Idk maybe that’s just me. I kinda stopped caring how we get armor at this point Im hoping halo 6 has halo reaches way of unlocking armor and a little but of 4 where certain commendations gave you pieces
