Halo 1, Halo 2, and Halo 3 all had the classic Halo theme that we have heared over the years. But Halo 4 Hasn’t. I know it’s a new Company that’s making the game, but they can’t forget how big the music aspect is to Halo. The Halo theme is soo iconic. It’s one of those things that makes a Halo Game feel like a Halo Game. Don’t get me wrong, I love the songs in Halo 4 soundtrack, but there are song that are too Iconic not to have. I Know they have “Never Forget” witch I’m soo thankful for, but The classic Halo theme is needed.

That’s rather harsh… I believe that Neil Davidge did an excellent job at creating the soundtrack for Halo 4, alongside Kazuma Jinnouchi.
I would love to hear the classic theme return in future Halo games though. I would love to see what the two new composers could do with it, since they did an amazing job at remixing Never Forget for the credits.

This is not the original trilogy. This is something new. Let’s keep that way. And as I’ve said many times before, the original theme music for Halo: CE fit well because it was conveying the splendor of seeing dat Halo ring for the first time. Now, while it’s still a nice theme, it doesn’t fit anymore and it didn’t fit for the 2nd and 3rd game as well. It’s time we let it go.

But I think since this is the Reclaimer saga and not the Covenant saga, things… will be different.
The old Halo theme is easily accessible and I would recommend playing the old soundtrack over Halo Xbox One’s soundtrack if you need to hear it that badly while playing.

I say bring it back too. Whatever new “theme” Davidge, Salta, and whoever else creates, it will never be as good as the original Halo theme.
They should also bring back Stephen Rippy.
Only CE’s and have it appear once, keep 117 as the theme for the Reclaimer saga

Reach had some good music too
Neil Davidge did a great job. I would love for him to continue with halo. But i agree, the original theme or some form of it should make a return.
