I was so happy to hear that good old Halo theme tune on the game menu during the halo infinite flight! However there was another piece of music on there that did not feel like halo at all! I hope 343 stops trying to drastically change halo and sticks to music from the bungie games! After all they keep saying halo infinite is going back to its roots and will be classic halo once again…

I myself love hearing that classic Halo sound as it brings back a lot of good memories. However I do enjoy the new composition that they have teased during the flight and I am curious to see more. This Halo does seem to be returning to it’s roots but in some good aspects in my opinion. For example they seem to be going back to the fair start system instead of giving people create-a-class options and such. On the other hand of course sprint, clamber, and more are all newer editions to the Halo universe which I think are all great additions! Perhaps there could be a feature to have a certain Halo playlist going in the main menus and in game so those who want the old school sound can indeed enjoy it while others may do the opposite or switch between.
Anyways, those are just my opinions!

The soundtrack in the technical preview was a good mix between classics and new “sounds”. If they keep it like that I think they can please everyone.
