So, I was talking to my good friend Drew AKA StrongSide JR. And we were talking about how awesome it would be if there was a playlist based around Old and Famous Halo Maps. We’re thinking if we could get Forgers to Forge some old Halo 1/2/3 Matchmaking Maps (Not Competitive). Like DLC or Launch Title Maps. Some of the Fan Favorite or just fun ones. I think this could possibly attract ALOT of players that generally play different Gametypes or love the older Halo maps. And maybe if we can get enough buzz around this Forum Topic I think this could happen. Anything is a possibility with how much 343i has been listening to the community. What maps would you like to see? What GameTypes would you also like to see comeback?
If they could bring over Reach’s Anniversary Playlist, that would be awesome. Missing the 3-shot pistol. Haha

I would be curious to see the maps - obviously Ragnarok is huge, and so is Shutout, so people clearly like the old school approach. But I have to say that I’ll skip them personally if I have to give up Infinity settings to get them.
It would be nice if Alpha Zombies was brought back, as for maps, maybe a map-pack with the most popular map from each of the games (excluding the ones that have already been re-created) would be cool.

Zanzibar.
Rat Race.

What would be the point then? You might as well just play Halo 3.
I see no point whatsoever in attempting to please Traditional fans with Halo 4.
The remaining population will consist mostly of Infinity fans and the people who have left in disappointment are not going to come back for one playlist.
The maps are designed with Infinity in mind and can never serve as ideal areas for Classic Halo gameplay to take place.
We should be asking them to make Halo 5 a decent Halo game. It’s too late for Halo 4.

I love Swordbase (yeah, I said it too)
Rat Race is one of my favourite Halo maps of all time. There aren’t many things that feel better than hitting a passing Warthog off the map with the Grav Hammer.
Ah, memories.
Edit: I just realized the map I’m referring to is actually called Rat’s Nest. Though I love Rat Race from CE too.
Most definitely I would play it. It would be the only playlist I played in halo 4.
I’m all for a playlist that grants the classic Halo experience.
