I think it would be pretty cool if there was a classic halo playlist with all the online settings from halo 2 and 3. Same original weapons, same starting weapons, weapons scattered on the map, no ordnance, no abilities, no sprint, everything exactly the same. Anyone else agree?

They are going to implement everything said, but keep sprint (In a somewhat “hardcore” playlist) It’s ironic, because it’s one of the things that destroy most for competetive play.
Actually, nothing is said about sprint, but that’s why I take it for granted it’s getting it’s place in the playlist.
Sprint increases the game speed and takes away from some of the skill. Halo was never really a fast paced game, rather medium pace with large battles. If you have kids that running from combat and running around the map it takes away from that originality that Halo 2 and 3 were so famous for.
Sprint slows down gameplay. It makes strafing ineffective, lowers base speed and makes maps bigger to compensate.
But that is neither here nor there. The upcoming competitive playlist is probably the closest thing we will get to halo 2/3 settings.
