Here…Classic Slayer

It’ll still have ORD(Ordinace) Drops. But that is how the weapons will spawn now in Halo 4 aside from the Ordinace Drops you get from kills in Infinity Slayer. It’ll be like Weapon Drops from Reachs FF.

For these Ordinance Drops, I think they’ll just spawn in the same place everytime and at predictable times.

Fair enough. In the end, it doesn’t really matter if people know at the moment or not, since everybody will know on November 6th!

Wrong you are sir. Ordnance drops are exclusive to infinity gametypes. Regular gametypes(slayer, CTF, oddall etc.) will have static spawns in most cases. They will spawn in the same locations at the same intervals. They might still show up in pods, but they will spawn normally instead of the new dynamic spawns that can be turned on.

Wasn’t this confirmed long ago?

This isn’t Classic Slayer, this is default slayer (not Infinity). We don’t know what the Classic gametypes will be like yet b/c nothing has been said about them other than that there will be some kind of classic experience in Halo 4.

The way I see it: Infinity Slayer will be taking full advantage of all of Halo 4’s features (whether they work or not), Classic Slayer will be the stripped down experience we’ve known for a decade now, and Default Slayer will be a good mix between the two (similar to Reach’s setup). It isn’t classic Halo if there are ordinance drops, personal loadouts, etc.

Im not so sure the Power items will be spawning in the same place on static timers in Regular Slayer…

“Dynamic ordinance drop system” isnt that just code for “Random weapon spawn system”?
Does this just mean the weapons will be random(IE: sometimes a sword other times a shotgun) or does this mean that the weapon drop location themselves will be “dynamic” meaning not in set locations?

I really hope not its not the latter I want to enjoy default H4 MM…

Just glad Slayer is back in the scene. It’s one of the modes I play most, next to Team Objective and BTB.
