This topic has been discussed to death, but clearly not enough.Classic gameplay a.k.a HALO 3 NEEDS to return(period) if you need a reason watch fayvn youtuber he explains it in detail and like everybody else who likes halo.
If I see another person who likes sprint \clamber\slide\ADS hrusters all abilities in general (the people who are ruining halo)–i will CRY.
2 halo’s pretty much failed because they had base abilities-- HOW many more failed halo’s should happen until CLASSIC good old fashion takes skill halo come back?
Look, I want classic gameplay back too, but you can’t just discount all the fans that like Halo 5. Halo 5 is a really balanced, skill-based game that a lot of people enjoy. It’s just not the good old Halo we played when we were kids.

you’re just a fan like everyone else, neither superior nor inferior than any others & you’re in absolutely no position to tell who’s ruining anything and statements like this make you just lose your credibility and if this paragraph is meant seriously, you should get yourself some tissues because there are a lot of fans by now who prefer “modern” Halo, which just as valid as “classic” Halo.
I think sometimes people forget HaloWaypoint’s forums are incredibly biased
The franchise has clearly seen a drop in both player numbers and popularity in the last ten years
I think many of the people around here are supporters of the current games, which frankly aren’t popular
We know they didn’t sell as well as the original trilogy, estimates are about a quarter to a third of the sales at best Clearly the current games are not working, you can’t debate that, it’s a fact supported by statistics.
The question we need to ask, putting aside our own personal opinions, is what is best for the future of the game
I could see so many people flocking back to a title that reminds them of some of their favourite years in gaming
That would be a classic Halo, with classic movement mechanics, and classic gameplay
