Almost a week after it’s launch and it was gold on pre-orders, which i completely understand, i pre-ordered myself with high expections, and have been left very under whelmed,

There was never any doubt the game was going to be a success sales wise, with the massive hype surrounding it, but, if the majority of the Halo community had the chance to play the full game pre launch, i really dont think it would have been the sales success it has been,

343 have let me down and many others, and i hoped this wasn’t going to be the case, infact i had literally put the idea of being disappointed away on the weeks leading upto launch day as the game did look very good from all the video’s i’d seen, but sadly this wasn’t the case after a few hours of play,

I’m not a young kid and i’m not latching on to everything 343 have said is great about the game, as it simply isn’t great, there are many things wrong,

I’m a long tim Halo fan who’s been there since the innovative and deeply immerseful CE was released back in the day and this game has moved so far from that it is now almost unrecognisable as a Halo game,

I’m sure there will plenty of kids along to say just how wonderful the game is, but i’m sorry, it’s not, and i’m calling a spade a spade here, the game is no more than a reskinned CoD, which i hate saying but it’s true,

I’m so disappointed, and my only hope now is, that 343 do take heed of the complaints and make the fixes that have broken the game, and soon.

So, why don’t you say what you feel dissapointed in, so it can be fixed trough patches… Instead of just saying you are dissaponted.

I’ve been around since the beginning, still remember the system link parties on Sidewinder, Prisoner, Hang 'em High and the like. I really miss Boarding Action.
All through the years I’ve played Halo, loved the first, third, ODST and Wars but hated H2 and didn’t really care about Reach.

That said I DO like Halo 4. I will admit there are some issues that should be fixed and/or improved like campaign/spartan ops theater mode and I STILL would like to see Firefight reappear but overall I think it’s a fine game.

I’m not trying to be a -Yoink-, but all I read was “It’s not Halo 1, EEEEWWWWWW!” I can see what you mean in some sense, but Halo 4’s campaign is IMO the best in the series. Sure it has some shortcomings, all games do, but as a whole it’s a fantastic game. Also, immerseful isn’t a word, I think you were looking for immersive.

Time* and if its broken then how can i play it right now? IM a fan since the beginnings of CE and it still feels very much like halo to me. Leave. Anyone that was expecting halo 4 to be like old games is just plain stupid. It would not survive in this era of games and everything evolves. But halo has yet to let down any of the fans i personally know. Your expectations were too high and i’m truly sorry that you can’t enjoy such a wonderful game. I know there are issues with the game. Every game has them, but its no where near as bad as people on waypoint make it out to be. So stop with this long fan type crap that doesn’t make your opinion any more valid then anyone else here and you will get no sympothy.

OP DMR, Warthog sound, no Firefight, short and repetitive campaign / no real replayability, no innovation at all, poor looking Spartans, etc etc…

HOW HAVE THEY BROKEN THE GAME? By doing something different? Im sorry it doesnt live up to your high and mighty expectations you highness, but i think its bloody awesome and im fed up with attention seekers telling me how the game should be played and made.

Don’t know about first two. Firefight got replaced with SPOPS. Which seens pretty damn good and better than firefight. Spartans look amazing, short and repetitive campaign? Isn’t that the main thing of FPS Campaigns? And no innovation? They just made and entire new race

I’ve played halo since CE as well and played the anniversary too. This is nothing like COD, try running jumping and shooting from the hip in non-halo games it’s horrible. The maps are great and to be honest I was gettin tired of the UNSC multiplayer of ALL previous halos. It definately has its flaws but overall it’s halo and for once it has some combat variety
