I want to bring awareness to the growing desire among those in the Halo community to have the classic emblems return in Infinite. I used the same emblem for Halo 1-3 + Reach. Absent in 4-5. Please bring them back! This actually means a lot to me.

I agree. But i thought halo 4 had decent emblems. Halo 5 was good BUT, not as good as custom emblems.
I really hope all the emblems are unlocked from the start, or at least the classic ones.
I did not like having to obtain my emblem in Halo 5 rather than have it day 1 as I’ve used the same one since Halo 2. I believe it took over a year for the Triad bug to be fixed.

What I’m talking about is the classic emblem set from Halo 1-3 & Reach. Halo 4 and 5 have okay emblems but I had an identity on Halo for nearly 10 years and they removed that identity. I and many other want that back. I know some of them are potentially copyright issues with Bungie but it can’t be everything. I just want my Double Crescent Moon back.

Not just custom emblems but the original emblem set from Halo 1-3 & Reach, I had the same emblem for nearly ten years and it’s never felt the same since they removed them.

At least you can still use the same emblem from Halo 2. I had the same emblem for Halo 2,3 and Reach (nearly ten years of online identity) and they removed it in Halo 4 & 5. I want at the minimum classic emblems back and I agree most should be unlocked from the start. I don’t mind specific ones as a reward for achieving something.
I use Marathon when available. 343i doesn’t care about anything but the almighty dollar though.

This may be there last chance, if Infinite fails than they will have to live on the fumes of MCC. I believe in 343i and I know they have the talent and best intentions.
While we’re at it, I’d like access to those cool looking animal-emblems that Halo 4 introduced (And most of which you never got to see due to it largely being regulated to Red and Blue teams). I was super disappointed I could never use the Cougar or Dinosaur ones e.g.
I don’t know if it was ever officially confirmed anywhere, but I swear I heard that some emblems were dropped because 343 didn’t have the ‘rights’ to use them anymore. The Marathon logo for instance was removed from Guilty Spark’s cinematics in H2A’s terminals since that logo was a Bungie thing. Sort of like how we don’t have the Hayabusa armor anymore.
On another note, I don’t know how “caring about money” has anything to do with what Emblems are or are not included in the game?

I think you are right, some of them might be legal issues but I can’t imagine the basic shapes and specifically (for me) the “crescent moon” is copyrighted. In regards to the animal emblems, I feel like they should be there. Each game should be what was in the previous game + new items. We should not have new restrictions and lose access to stuff we had prior.

If you mean the “Headhunter” badge it was from matching 343i members during one of the MCC Beta Flights. As you can expect, it’s impossible to obtain it now.
A more or less complete list of the Badges, and how you can (or used to be able to, in some cases) obtain them.
Would like to have the ability to customize emblems to have on our armor again. Would be cool to have the option to choose between our custom or Spartan Company emblems if they decide to carry over the Spartan Company mechanic.

I completely agree. We should have access to most of the emblems styles from the start and also be able to customize them. It would also be nice to see them on your armor again.

What fumes? MCC was a huge disaster. Here’s a broken, $60 game. We’ll give you a month of XBL worth $10 though. Thanks for the $50.

It was a huge disaster out the gate but now it’s really the only place you can go to get a “classic” halo experience (years later… but still). I have more fun on MCC now and find more games than I do on Halo 5. if Infinite fails then the only thing that will maintain somewhat of a player base will be MCC.

More like both of them.
When I said Halo 4 it was for the emblem being visible on the shoulder pauldron.
Only played Halo 3’s campaign with my friend who owned it so I don’t know if it does the same in Multiplayer.
I had used the Thor emblem with the Display background since Halo 3. Both were removed in Halo 4 and they did not return to Halo 5.
For me, my emblem had become as much a part of my identity as my gamertag. For it not to be available, kind of took that away from me and I’ve been searching for an emblem I like but nothing is the same unfortunately.
