anybody feel like this was a waste? It doesn’t look like the classic BR in any way. The only thing classic about it is the scope. Not really understanding the point.
The type of scope is classic. Just like how there is the longshot and recon scopes.

I know that, but when they announced the classic BR, they should’ve said its only classic scope. Would’ve been more clear

My guess is that it would be under powered if it was the BR in Halo 3. The burst is quicker in Halo 5’s BR than Halo 3’s. I’m fine with it being the normal BR with a classic scope, but it would be cool as a reskin.

They did say the only changes were the scope in the live stream for the update.
What about it isn’t classic?
It’s a 3 round burst mid range weapon with a mid range scope that kills in 12 bullets. That’s about as classic as the BR gets.
I don’t know, I think it’s a great addition. Were you expecting the BR-55 model, or the whole shebang with slower rate of fire and everything?

shrugs it is of little consequence to me. I only use it till req 6 then get my dmr. I like the scope better than the basic sights, but it only sticks with me for a very short time, lol.
