Most of the difference will be in the scope’s zoom, I’m guessing. Since this is a “new” weapon and not a variant, it should be in Forge as well.
That was a sneaky inclusion. Curious what is special about it.
Maybe it’s rate of fire will be more like that of Halo 2 or 3’s BR, and/or have the classic zoom animation instead of the smart scope.
I saw that, its a pretty cool that they did that. Now all I need is an MA37 variant of the AR, and ill be set.
It says classic, but all it looks like is a BR85 with a different scope, and not the classic BR55… still cool though.

You still have three round bursts with the standard battle rifle - they’re just faster.

what? the BR on Halo 4-5 is also burst aka 3 bullets, same as every other halo game.

Thats how the BR was in every halo game, H5 included. It’s never been just one shot.

I’m banking on it being purely aesthetic. 343 is obviously trying their hardest to get as many REQs out as they possibly can, hence why some are not all that exciting.
