I think I speak for many when I say that the armor in Halo 5 is a bit crummy. I don’t know I know 343 tried but alot of the armor looks flat out wacky. I have a suggestion for a fix to this…how bout a classic armor update that features REQ packs available to unlock that can contain the following: Classic Recon (Halo 3 Recon without the bulged out jaw and also the original chest armor), Hayabusa (I don’t know WHY this isn’t here, classic ODST (ans maybe some of the ODST variants we saw in ODST?), Inheritor, Reach GUNGIR.

For the millionth time, Hayabusa only had an appearance in Halo 3 because Bungie had a deal with Tecmo (Ninja Gaiden) where they had spartan armor designed off Ryu Hayabusa, and Tecmo used a Master Chief model in their game.
Also, the GUNGIR variation in Halo 5 is the exact same model from Halo Reach, if it’s not, it looks very similar.
If we get classic armor I can very well damn bet you that the shoulder pieces will not cover the shoulders at all and instead look like they are on your arm. 343’s creative imagination will probably also leave out armor on the lower abdomen and pelvic regions.

While some of the newer Halo 5 gen 2 sets look silly (looking at you seeker), I much prefer the majority of them. Didnt really like the Halo 3 recon set and when it was redone in 4 I loved it especially in those pretty Spartan Ops episodes. I could never understand the fascination with Reach gungnir which also looked silly. The only thing I really want to see return is Noble 6’s mark v(b) and cqb so long as they look at least 70% like the Reach versions I’ll be happy, if not oh well.
People really just need to move on imo, new is always better.
Well considering there adding Mark V/IV (IDK which it is. Everyone’s arguing over it) in the December update which is the most classic you can get, I think that need should be satisfied for me.
