Ok So not everyone likes halo 5 gameplay, so what I was thinking, to please both side of the fanbase 343 should add a classic arena playlist with no spartan abilities. It should have all the game modes in it to keep people playing ctf, btb, oddball etc what do y’all think. Maybe classic warzone to.
note: I like halo 5 it’s not perfect but Multiplayers one of the best for me. I’m seeing a lot of classic fans hoping halo 6 fails due to the sprint and other mechanics. So I’m hoping 343 does something for the classic fans too

Maybe so, but the BMS is gonna be bumped let’s say 20-30%. I dunno if it’s gonna work fluidly in Halo 5.
If I remember right, 343i said they’re working on a classic playlist.
If 343 does do it it’ll take forever and be broken and or unfinished when we get it
There’d better be some aim-assist/bullet-mag modifiers coming in a small update too, otherwise Classic is going to play terribly… then carry over the code to H6 and have modern and classic gameplay support/playlists.
Quality investment… everyone potentially made happy. The game would just have to deliver at that point…

They should use the H2BR but odds are they use the H5 one.
H2BR needs to be used. H5 BR would not be classic.

I’d like them to use the H2 BR just for the “classic” look, but I’m concerned about how much it’s aim assist would affect gameplay, particularly if the majority of the maps are small.

I never use expanded and find games in any playlist I want to play and hardly ever experience lag. When the playlist is offered it will more likely be one of those rotational social playlist and I have yet to have trouble finding games in any of those.

I always search on focused and I think my max wait time is a minute or two. Halo 5 still has a steady population that’s even beating Titanfall 2. There’s 20 playlists. They can afford one more.

When i search on focused I usually dont get any games at all. On balanced it usually takes 5 to 10 minutes which is not particularly fun and expanded is just lag. My guess is ure from murica?

Personally, I think the H5 BR feels a lot better. Without Spartan Abilities, you wouldn’t be able to miss with the H2 BR… Asinine levels of aim assist/bullet mag…
It’s partially why modifiers would be highly beneficial.
