I created this thread for a pention for the old school classic gametypes like 1/Flag and Assualt being missing from Halo 4, like previous Halo’s like Halo 2, Halo 3 and even Halo CE: Anniversary a game 343 Industries actually developed had it, and now its GONE!?
I really hope 343I, can pull it together and bring the old fashion classic gametypes back because it’s what made Halo. We need a stand for this one fellow Halo players! It needs to make a return for Halo!

Agree with this OP bring back assault and classic CTF also keep the new CTF though for variety :).
And well is nice to have lots of gametypes i know but sorry Epic can’t say i’d personally be fussed about infection or VIP.
VIP and infection is mainly for customs to be honest as thats the area halo 4 falls flat on its face but either way i want assault and one flag for multiplayer used to be my favorite game types, ooo and one bomb that was sweet

I agree. I have spent so many hours playing Infection in Halo. It was my favorite mode. Flood is a terrible replacement.
Yeah having all the options for custom games would be nice people can do what they like then 
which is never a bad thing not something i personally care too much about though as i don’t really like custom games but that just me :).
Also yeah one bomb would be sweet i wish they’d just bring back a team objective gametype instead just having CTF on its own with nothing else.
Should consist of CTF new and classic, Assault perhaps new rules and classic,One Bomb and One Flag again maybe new and old rules and last but not least territories as well although i’m not a huge fan of it is nice to mix things up and keep them fresh.
i agree with you but i cant say i liked territories to much same with juggernaut just didnt do it for me but the more the merrier

And I assume they may start looking into expanding the custom game options once they complete the major TUs and fixes.
Importantly the 1/flag and Assualt were the most important as this point, having only CTF is like only having one sock on your foot we need the other sock on too. The other things mentioned about I really wasn’t involved in but could be for customs. I just want those classics back its what made halo competitive in its own way and made it fun.

You do realize a lot of threads are basically pensions about customs to a lot of other things but pentions not being in the topic right?
