Well in a game called call of duty you have the ability to make several classes that have different weapon choices ect, now I’m not actually suggesting this type of classes but armor classes. Like having the ability to make different spartan armor combos with their colors and emblems and then swap between them by a push of a button.
not a bad idea.
between games of course, not in them

The addition of classes is something that has been discussed for a long time. However, Halo has always been about having everyone start on a level playing field. Armor abilities is about as close as Halo should ever come to classes
Im not asking for weapon classes, I’m asking for the ability to have different spartan combos for their armor/color/emblem and being able to switch between them.
You notice he just wants to be able to change the look of his armor on the fly? Not have different classes with perks, weapons, etc. He was just using that as an example.
I would use this alot
(I have terrible memory)
I’d love it if it was saves of different combos of armor and such as you said, considering there’s so many looks I liked and it can be a little annoying at times re-adding all of the pieces.
This would currently only work pregame… once the game starts it loads your armor through the map… from the .map files… and if it had to do that in the middle of a game… all of the consoles would have to do that… 'twould be bad
Only bumping because i posted this the same day as gamma launch so it wasn’t seen by that many.
It would be good to have. Maybe rename the thread to avoid confusion though. Call it something like Armor saves or something. I like the idea of a system where you can save your armor combos like you can map variants.
