Class Action Lawsuit

Not sure how to get the ball rolling…

And before everyone starts jumping down my throat, It’s not just because of the issues with Halo.

Gaming manufacturers have been taking advantage of people for a few years now by releasing bad products and not worrying about the consequences. The government holds automobile companies liable for what they sell to the public. If you don’t see this as a business problem, then you need to go out into the real world and learn how things operate.

The only way things will get better for the future, is if we set an example now. Get them to cover the products they sell!

Get a grip. This will never happen.

P. S. If you’re going to threaten legal action do it through a lawyer and not an idiotic way such as this.

It can happen. It has happened. More than once.

Given that I would not like to see Microsoft and 343i spend resources defending themselves from something like this instead of spending them making the next Halo game moar awesomer, the best recourse we have as Halo fans is to complain loud and stridently now so that 343i has sufficient incentive to prevent such a snafu with future titles.

this is a joke right? lol

If you want to do this, I’d suggest speaking to a legal professional. Not posting on these forums where every other person knows everything and so it must be true.

First off, search the topic before posting, there are tons of these posts already. Second, you cannot compare media to the automobile industry, just stop.

Having lawsuit filed against them and actually something happening from it are two entirely different things.

You should do research before posting random links to allegied lawsuit that simply were filed but no charges made: Spoiler alert: EA won

They most certainly did. And how much did they pay in legal fees to achieve that outcome? Would you rather 343i throw money at lawyers, or use that money to make the next game better?

More time and money put into Halo 5 = more bad additions to the game = a worse game, so I’d rather they spend it on lawyers. Halo 5 is going to be terrible no matter how much time and effort is put into it.

good attitude bro.

So dumb… regardless of what or how the issues happened the fact still remains that nothing, no product, application, whether its a video game or enterprise application has a 100% guarantee that it will work 100% of the time. Its funny, working in IT I am on the other side of the coin and know what its like when stuff doesn’t work. Whatever the reason or problem, as inconvenient you think it is, you are not the one putting in 20 hour shifts spending time away from your family constantly hearing idiots like this pretend that they know something about how things should work.

If you want to use an example of bad launches, that had legitimate bugs look no further than BF4. That game was broken… that was clearly an oversight on quality with the sheer amount of issues that game had. This is a networking / server / searching issue… yeah its annoying but it will be fixed relatively quickly.

I know in your fantasy world that people that work in tech are magical beings that are all knowing and should no everything that could possibly go wrong. Im going to crap in your Cherios and tell you that isn’t true. I know… its like finding out Santa isnt real all over again…

There is a clear difference between broken games… BF 4, AC Unity, Sim City 4 and a technical issue that was not seen at launch.

this is the funniest -Yoink!- thing i have ever read. to think you will get anywhere with this. lol. you had us going there.

So let’s just destroy an Amazing Game company for the sake of a certain percentage of disgruntled customers… Yeah that’s Logic right there for ya. People are morons, one thing I’ve learned in my life is that there is no shortage of Stupidity in the world today, It’s only getting worse by the generation.

Do you think you’re Jesus because you work in IT? You’re probably gullible enough to believe in imaginary friends like that too? You’re a Zero Cool wanna be with not enough brains to find a career that you could be happier in, working a lot less hours. Don’t hate on my statement because you’re not good at your job.

There ARE real issue with the game, not just the servers and the network. Have you read any other posts on here?! About campaign, and everything else in the core game itself? Get a grip on yourself before you try and bash somebody else.

And you’re wrong about things having a 100% guarantee!!! If you’ve ever shopped at Mens Warehouse, “You’re going to like the way you look, I guarantee it!”

Well pretty sure why your receiving all the hate is in you 1st line.

“Not sure how to get the ball rolling…” derp

Instead of posting a suggestion of a lawsuit, why don’t you just file it and see where that gets you. That’s how you get the ball rolling.

By doing this you are just delaying them.from getting the game working at all. I’m not defending them at all, I’m just saying if you strongly believe that a class action is needed then just do it, don’t wait for someone else to start one that’s just cowardly.

Isn’t there another post or four by the exact same title? Search is good friend.

Amazing company? Really, if they are so amazing why can’t they fix this -Yoinking!- mess of a game!
