We got promised a game for $60 and 2 days later still haven’t been able to play it as it is always freezing and crashing. I’m going to get in touch with a lawyer to see about a class action lawsuit… anyone else in?
LOL
I would if I had the time. You do it for me.
This is crazy…
Does no one remember Battlefield 4? Atleast 343 is actually replying and keeping us up to date on what is going on. Dice did nothing for months to actually fix the issues…
JUST SAYING
At the same time you can ask your lawyer about changing the bible to say Tupac is jesus.
Yea keeps us up to date… saying at 10 am pst they would roll out an update… it’s 418 pm est. And I’ve been trying to play halo for over an hour and still haven’t found a game…
If this were an honest to God option, believe me it ISN’T, what would we all be entitled to I wonder? Our 60$ that we spent on the game? The argument could be made that 50% of the game is at least playable in some fashion. Let’s say we did get $60 per person back, are we expecting that lawyer to work for free?
I think we’d owe money after that.
Winning.
They released it server side and putting out a client side this evening.
Calm down.
Have you ever released a 4 game collection of AAA titles?
No?
Okay then sit down and have some -Yoink- patience.

They did post an update and said they need to monitor to see if it fixes anything. They didn’t say it would fix the issue completely. Fixing these bugs takes time and effort while looking at the data that is collected.
Yeah, because 343 FORCED you to purchase their game. If you can’t handle waiting, return it and move on, man.
Well, good luck…
If you purchased a digital copy, just call up MS and give them the rundown. I know a few who were refunded, in full, for their Destiny purchases because of the constant errors and drops at and soon after launch.
That said, I don’t believe there are any financial obligations involved when you develop and sell a game. I don’t remember signing any agreements with 343i or Microsoft stating that if I didn’t like the game or it didn’t work as advertised that I was subject to any kind of financial reimbursement. There are no “satisfaction guarantees” with games.
You may have a case if you get denied a refund given the perfectly valid reasoning that you cannot do what you bought the game to do. However, the case would most likely only net you the cost of the game and nothing more and would only be viable given you were denied the refund first.
If you are entirely unsatisfied, call Microsoft and see what they can do for you, but the idea you’re going to get a legit lawsuit going with any chance of winning is a stretch if I do say so myself.
I am sorry why should we be entitled to anything in the form of compensation. The game works, just not as expected. What do you expect when a game of this caliber gets released. I mean think about it, four campaigns running on multiple engines. The original multiplayer types for all four games. I almost expected there to be issues with this launch. You have four incredible campaigns. Why not work through those while you wait for these issues to be resolved.

Umm…how about you shove it?
The game was released. When something is for sale to the public it is under the assumption that is complete and workable.
Would Ford release a new Focus with no tires, or a 2 cylinder engine instead of the proper factory model, for FULL price, then claim “Oh we will release the real version at a later date.”
What about buying a mop and bucket at the the store to find the bucket has 3 holes in the bottom of it? Would you defend that -Yoink- too? "Oh well you can still use the MOP! They will patch the bucket later so its usable.
That’s what you’re defending fanboy.
I dont get why people defend a company that put out a title that doesn’t work. Its so weird to me. I wish these people who defend 343 would hire me so I could screw them out of their money too. They could write good yelp reviews for me while i never complete the work.

No they couldnt even give a time for first update just said we would be seeing a patch wednesday morning at pst… just lazy 343 cant even give an actual time -_-
just wow
And then on top of that… the patch failed almost as hard as the game did
ah the internet… full to the brim of low IQ’s
