Clans?

Any chance the clan system from H2 come back for 5? The game is based on being competitive and team based.

I think there have been quite a few posts about clans, not sure if they came up with a definitive answer in any of them though.
I’m not much of a ‘team player’, but I’m sure they will do something to help out clans, or groups. I’m just not sure it’s going to be that sort of style as Halo 2.

I’ve been trying to get a response from 343 on this topic for years. Started asking for it directly to them back in Reach. We haven’t seen such a system in any Halo since 2, and I haven’t been thrown a single reply during these years. I wish they could at least tell us such a feature won’t be coming, and instead it just feels like they aren’t even considering it. I don’t think 343 realize how much better their games would be if they allow players to create in-game teams with names everyone can see, with stats of wins/losses everyone can see, etc. I don’t think 343 realize how much that feature would boost the competitive aspect of their games, which is a shame since they do realize that e-sports is big money nowadays. Well, they snooze, they lose! It’s a shame we have to lose as well.

I really hope their is some form of a clan system in Halo 5 it makes so much sense to have it.

It was so easy in H2 because it was its own friends menu that’s what I really want.

I think GameBattles and things of the sort do a good enough job handling clans. When you make an entire playlist dedicated to clans, you get people who turn the whole thing into a mockery. Call me a condescending, but a small group of someone and their schoolmates =/= a clan.

I think clans are only good for games like Battlefield and Arma. In Halo, it’s just too easy to lone wolf it, and many clans are literally just a bunch of good lone wolfs playing on the same team.

I like how MCC clan thing. You just put your clan name in there and boom done. I’d be okay with just that.

An improved version of Halo 2 maybe?
