I don’t really understand the point of clans in the modern day game scape. We have Discord servers and Xbox groups.

Clans, discord groups are basically the same thing. I run a discord for my Clan which was created during the Halo 2 days. We have thousands members and sure in the discord it’s cool, but it’d be nice to have clan roster similar to Destiny 2 where you can see who in your clan is online (it’s hard to keep thousands on your Xbox friends list), you can recruit others to join and we could have the ability to have set clan emblems , tags and armor designs if we choose to. I find it somewhat funny that the Esport clans not only are the only ones to get their own armor designs, but we also have to pay $20 to rep a esport team we’re not even a part of because it’s the only customization we pretty much have in the game

Ok that makes sense but I’m not try to text people all day I want stats tracked like game battles for cod is there that option for halo?
Well wtf is the point of just playing ranked and not seeing if you can make a team and try to top the leader boards
