Clans are back in the Master chief collection

I don’t know if this was posted else where, but look at the top right of this screen in the box next to service ID it says Clan!

This has to be proof that clans are making a return!

If you cant see it I highlighted it here:

I think it just means “Clan Tag” which is the just the 4 letter word you can put infront of your GT like in Halo 4. Weren’t they called “Clan Tags” in Halo 4 too?

ex. (POOP) Jawshe
(MLG) xXnoScopemyLettuceXx

I feel like you’re reaching. Why would they separate the Clan Tag option from the Clan menu (providing clans were in).

A topic came up about this yesterday and I made this post:

> Clan Tags - Halo 4 Service Tag and likely Halo 2 Anniversary. In Halo 4, you could have any four character combination and it looks like H2A is going the same.

The menu itself actually does say “Clan Tag”, not just “Clan”.

Damn that sucks, so what is Service tag? why have both?

As others have said, it could just be Clan Tag (not as we need it…) but I do hope clans are brought back, that’d be awesome. If they don’t the excuse will probably be that Parties and Favorites from the dashboard replace the need for a Clan system.

Clan Tag: Appears next to your name in lobbies and on scoreboards to show your clan.

Service tag: Appears above your head in-game so teammates know who you are.
