Hey all!I know this isn’t done much - or for that matter, at all - but hear me out.I’ve decided to start my own clan in the PC edition of Halo 5. Now, I know some may think this is far fetched. But I see it as a good opportunity to at least attempt and build some community for Halo 5 on PC because well, right now…it’s sort of nonexistent. You could argue that there’s a few games up on the customs browser here and there, but I don’t consider that community play, as people don’t communicate to succeed - you can’t even use a mic. So, resorting to writing everytime you feel the need to communicate something, especially in the middle of a Slayer/CTF game sort of sucks.
Now, there’s a lack of Warzone/matchmaking on Halo 5 Forge. It was never really meant to be a full port - but the custom games browser is there, which contributes for a ton of possibilities when playing custom games, even without the matchmaking system. Most game modes - Slayer, Infection, Races, Parkour etc, can still be played due to the presence of the customs browser, which I believe adds quite a good bit of longevity to the game. I’ve created a Discord for the clan, comprised of different channels, which serve different purposes - but mainly, Discord is there for ease of communication. Previous clan experience isn’t necessary.
Neither is an high placement ranking in Arena.
I’d like to gather some people together in a more structured environment and have a good time.
