First I would like to say that I have nothing against the ideas of clans, I’m just talking about the constant spam of join us messages. Everytime I get on now I can’t go a match or two without getting some join our clan message, which gets rather annoying real quick(especially when they badger you during the game with messages). I don’t understand why they don’t use any of the dozen’s of halo forums that exist to do their recruiting, let people who do want to join ask instead of badgering people while their trying to play a game(or at least use a different message than the same damn cut and paste message constantly).
Yeah, I remember this being a problem when I played reach more actively.
Back then I got clan invites up to seven to eight times a day. It is very annoying if you get invited to a clan all the time.
I dont know how you could make them stop inviting you, I mean… That is how some of the people in their clan has joined it?
This will probably always be something that will not stop, in reach, or in other games.

The Irony is real here. You’re getting constant clan messages, and you don’t want them. I on the other hand, want to join a clan and have gotten 0 messages about clans.

What is your average match score typically? have you completed the game on legendary?

A simple rank standing or a flaming helmet is enough to be flooded by these messages… Good thing all I get is rage messages from custom assassinations rather than BTB, its more fun.
hey guys i know this is late but i found the perfect solution. are you tired of constant message don’t worry about it ever again because there are 2 solutions. 1. block communications with them 2. go to your preferences and turn off notifications.

Won’t really help until after they’ve messaged you and you know who they are.
as long as you didn’t delete the join my insert name here clan you can block communications with that person.
