As long as all the jumps in the game can be done without clamber, there should be no issue. IDC about sprint bc u can just disable it and increase the movement speed, but clamber is much harder to rebalance because in halo 5 all the jumps were adjusted to clamber, so if you removed clamber you could not do the jumps. As longa as this is not the case in infinite there should be no issues as far as im concerned.
Not too bad a trade-off…You can make any jump with or without Clamber, but not using Clamber allows you to perform the jump from any visual orientation, as far as being able to navigate the jump backwards (if the player knows the map well enough), as well as allowing the player to keep their weapon up.
It still feels unnecessary to me, and I would prefer its absence. However, given this is now quite unlikely to change, I’d like it to be fairly well balanced. It was quite generous in Halo 5.
Or they could just have the ability to switch clamber off like in halo 5.
