Clamber is fine if it is balanced. This means the right amount of risk/reward with clambering paths and less risk with crouch jumps.

This. The potential problem is that if it offers too much mobility it can adversely affect the balance of the map, much like sprint. In the preview both mechanics seemed toned down to tolerable levels. I would prefer their outright removal but in their present form they are not obnoxious.
