I’ve been noticing a lot of questionable claims going around the forums and I think it’s time we got the source for most if not all of them. To start, where is the source for:

  1. No playable elites in multiplayer.
  2. No Firefight. Source: Halo 5 Gameplay Interview: Warzones, Multiplayer, Campaign and More - YouTube
  3. No Theater for Campaign.
  4. No customizable armor.

I will update this topic and mark these off with their respective sources if anyone has them.

Armor is Head, Visor and suit. No playable elites in campaign, someone can catch that one.

Number 4. Someone get a link.

Armor customization is limited, not non-existent. No theater for campaign is likewise not confirmed. It’s exaggerations created to make things seem worse than we now.

No elites and firefight is confirmed.

Does anyone have an up to date source on armor customization? The head, visor, and suit source was a tweet from before the beta was even out.

But yeah, guys, you can’t just say something is confirmed without giving a source. That’s what this topic is about.

  1. Devs said it during 343’s segment at E3 live day 2. There isn’t an archive video up on youtube yet, but yes, they have confirmed that. Personally, I’m glad they’re gone for good.

  3. I don’t even know where you got that from. Halo 4 didn’t have it, so i’m not expecting it to come back. At least the Xbone can record stuff now.
  4. Now this is a big topic for me. Short answer is NOTHING IS CONFIRMED. There were some tweets floating around about the customization being very limited, but those may or may not have been in regards to the beta, because both tweets were tweeted before and during the beta. However, there was a tweet released in May of this year, where Josh commented that the Armor customization in the Halo 5 Beta wouldn’t even “scratch the surface” of the customization in the final release.
