CIO Armor acronym explained...possibly.

CIO - What does this acronym mean?

Doing a simple google search for the acronym CIO yeilded me the following that could be the words behind the acronym:

Chief Intelligence Officer
Combat Intelligence Officer
Command Intelligence Officer
Chief Investigation Officer (not so much, expect for maybe Spartan Ops as the explanation, if the team is investigating something)

I think the second one is the likely meaning.

the first 2 seem to be the most Feasible. But I’m gonna go more with the second one.

According to Halopedia (I know, I know) it stands for Combat Intelligence Officer.

Halopedia is typically very accurate so I think this is probably correct

What’s wrong with Halopedia?

Well I’ll be -Yoink!-…

Personally speaking, nothing is wrong with Halopedia. (Halo Nation, on the other hand…) But generally around here the moment Halopedia is used as a reference, swarms of nay-sayers are quick to shoot it down as a bad source. I think it’s a very good one.

I thought Halo Nation was a good source. :frowning:

In my personal experience, Halopedia is MUCH more accurate than Halo Nation

Halo Nation is much more lax than Halopedia. For canonical sources, go with Halopedia. For sources relating to gameplay (they have some good sections on Matchmaking techniques) Halo Nation is alright. But it’s a poor source of canon due to a much more lax administration.

The CIO helmet is kinda weird… but cool at the same time…strange.

I like the look of all of them so far.

Where are you seeing helmets at?

EDIT: Nevermind.

This lists all the bonuses and how to obtain them.

I think it means Counter Intelligence Operator, like ASIO (Australian Security Intelligence Organization ) to takle enemy spies.
