I’d like a variant of the Cinder armor. An ultrarare or legendary variant with a more awesome paintjob. I really like it especially the helmet and visor. There are a lot of very generic looking armors that get a legendary or ultrare version, so why not this one?
Considering its base rarity (which is Uncommon), we’ll probably only see a Rare variant in the future. An Ultra Rare / Legendary variant seems a bit much.
A new variant would be cool, but seriously, does the rarity even matter? I use it because it looks hella cool, paint job included, I couldnt care less what the rarity is.
Others only seem to use ultra-rare or legendary, forgetting that there are a tonne of armours that aren’t even that bad looking below. If 343i brings back all this armour, I hope they do away with the rarity tags so we can see some unfamiliar helmets like cypher or warrior.

I get your point there. Why rarity matters? Subconciously it gives the feeling that being ultra rare or legendary makes it more exclusive and less people will be able to get it and that kinda gives you the sense of being more unique (we all aspire to be special lol). That’s what I think.
Also my point of it being ultra rare or legendary is that there are a lot of basic armors like air assault that have their legendary variant. I actually think Cinder armor is worthy of having more rarity.

Agreed, they have terrible paint style. The hunter armor has a darker tone on the secondary color, would be better if it was the normal tone.
I love the Cinder Armor more than the Hunter armor. I too agree that a new a skin for the Cinder armor would be nice as well as the actual ODST armor from Halo 4.
