I couldn’t find a topic on this in search but if I am wrong please direct me to it. I am planning to read all the novels in order but am having trouble finding a recent list. The lists I have found show the order to be:
Halo: Forerunner Trilogy (Cryptum, Primordium, Silentium)
Halo: Contact Harvest
Halo: The Cole Protocol
Halo: The Fall of Reach
Halo: The Flood
Halo: First Strike
Halo: Ghosts of Onyx
Halo: Evolutions
This list is missing quite a few and I would like to know the order in which they fall. The missing novels per Halo Novels | Halo Alpha | Fandom are:
Kilo-Five Trilogy (Glasslands, The Thursday War, Mortal Dictata)
Halo: Broken Circle
Halo: New Blood
Halo: Hunters in the Dark
Halo: Saint’s Testimony
Halo: Last Light
Halo: Shadow of Intent
I think this has been made already, but I’ll help out anyway.
Broken Circle is broken up into two parts, the first part is set soon after the formation of the Covenant, around 800BC or something. The second half is set during the Great Schism.
New Blood is a report made by Spartan Buck in August 2555, though the book does flash back into several points of time, including before the Covenant war.
Kilo Five starts at around the start of 2553.
Last Light takes place in July 2553, after Kilo Five.
Hunters in the Dark takes place in March 2555.
Saint’s Testimony takes place in 2558.
Shadow of Intent I have no idea, the book isn’t even out yet.
also, Halo: Evolutions is composed of several stories taking place in several different periods.
Ok thanks. I didn’t even realize Shadow of Intent wasn’t out yet XD I just want to get deeper into the lore. I read The Fall of Reach and The Flood a looooong time ago and I stumbled upon them while cleaning out an old room. Made me want to read the rest and that’s when I saw there are 18 books o.O Luckily most of them are only a dollar now lol thanks again.
