So I have noticed that Chrome on iOS isn’t supported in the Halo 4 stats app page. As someone who hates using Safari on my iPad mini, this is very frustrating. I even get a warning about my browser when loading the homepage, but if I click continue (which you can’t do with the stats app) everything works just fine.
Are there any plans to add in compatitibility later on?
There most likely isn’t plans to make it compatible with Chrome for iOS. What I did is I went to the stats page on Safari and then pinned the page to my home screen so it loads the page directly.
Spoofing your user agent string should allow you to fool Waypoint’s server-side checks and get around the compatibility warning. Basically, you’ll want to configure Google Chrome to identify itself as one of the supported browsers (i.e. Firefox).
I think Chrome needs an extension to do that, though.
