Choosing 'none' for the AAs or Packages

Can someone explain to me why this option exists?

I originally thought that an AA would take the place of one of the tactical or support packages, but in this video

that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Therefore, can anybody explain to me what the point of having a ‘none’ option is?

Thanks

‘None’ is for Chuck Norris mode.

Could be for custom games preset loadouts or something?

It’s for the hardcore Halo veterans who’re too old for change.

Pretty much this.

Ok, but why include it in the base loadout menus?

So that if someone wants to play without an armor mod or whatnot, they can. Some people are like that.

BUT WHAAIII

Easy classic playlists.

Remember when we first start out we won’t have any of these things unlocked so thats why its there.

With that, i don’t know, maybe how it’s set up in customs are similar so they didn’t bother removing None from the MM.

Not even any of them?

That’d make sense…

None exists for 2 reasons:

1 - Custom Games

2 - There needs to be an option available before you unlock anything.

When you first start playing you won’t have any AAs, or Perks, so you will be defaulted to None.

It makes sense if you have to unlock them.
I bet you though that if they had sprint as an AA still, that would replace none.

To each their own.
I know that it’s not right to compare these two games, but in MW3, I will clear all of my killstreaks and either run around with just a UAV or none at all. It helps me focus on how I’m used to playing instead of “Oh, I need to worry about this, now, too.”

343 listened to the less than 100 people who hate armour abilities so they put “None” in to satisfy you.

Haha just joking I love you crazy guys.

Yeah I think this mode is going to be for true MLG people…alot of people talk crap and sayin MLG in thier gametag…this would be a good way to prove it. As for me, I think loadouts add alot to the game…and especially with Halo 4, if you have a group of friends u always playlist…each member can have different ablities and custimizations which can prove to be an effective co-hesive team… i’m all for team playing rather then everyone worrying about K/D ratio

It’s for people who hate fun.
