Choose to play ranked with those without mic or those with

This is a must, joining with players who can’t actually play is just as bad, but if they don’t have a mic how are you supposed to play as a team? Rarely anyone uses the callout system, and it’s usually the ones who are already talking that do.

Can this PLEASE be an option?

Unfortunately, it seems many people are using discord as a medium. I try to leave my in-game mic on so I can communicate with both discord and in-game folks, but the days of meeting a random during a match and teaming up are long gone.

I always play with a headset and I will do callouts and ping, though sometimes I feel really silly as I’m just talking to myself and I’ve even received messages saying to shut up, so I’m kinda starting to not care anymore and just farm for a decent KDA to rank up at this point. I play solo/duo on controller btw.

Same, but the problem is that if all you’re worried about is the KD/A, then the people you’re playing with won’t be able to win. The whole point is to play the game type, make call outs, help the team mates, etc. But people are just becoming selfish now, and it’s saddening.

I start off trying to win, but if no one is receptive to my callouts/ping and just run around with no intentions, I will solely focus on KDA so I don’t become farmed or lose too much rank. Is what it is.

I love when others have game chat enabled. Feels like old Halo days meeting random players. When no one has mics it is painful playing solo.

This game is so unique that team play is essential. Some just don’t understand that

Somebody told you to shut up? That sounds like an invitation to start screaming into the mic.

We can’t get a dedicated Slayer playlist and you want to select mic/no mic? Pie in the sky big man. That isn’t ever gonna happen. Not in a million years.

My favorite complaint w/ mic use was one time playing Halo 3 ranked team slayer and this guy messaged me directly on Xbox saying I woke up his family by talking during the game lol. As if he couldn’t have muted me, lowered his volume, etc.

The cup is half full my friend. They asked for feedback, I’m giving it in the form of a request. If it happens, I’ll be happy, if not, I’ll just continue to curse at my teammates.

You can’t give feedback in this manner, you’ll be labeled as toxic.

I appreciate people that talk, and I often get to eavesdrop in some rather interesting conversations. However, the minute anyone starts up with vulgarity and profanity they get muted.

That sounds like a them problem, not a you problem. You should keep using your mic!

As for the OP request, that would be cool but in the interim, you can probably use the Xbox live “looking for group” feature to find mic’d up players.
