Choose the Next Set of Waypoint Forum Avatars

The release of Halo 4 is only 50 days away! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday that we were sitting in what felt like a lonely corner of a dark room anticipating any news whatsoever from our beloved savior of Earth.

Now that we are out of those so-called dark ages, information has been given to us at a feverish pace. If you’re anything like me, you’ll do anything to aid the passage of time, hoping to speed the waiting process so that there is nothing between you and your copy of Halo 4 anymore. While I don’t have a spare Cryo Tube on me, I do have a way to help pass the time.

Over the last couple of weeks, 343 has thrown a plethora of new information our way. If you haven’t yet seen, make sure to check out the latest “Making Halo 4” ViDocs showcasing the Master Chief & Cortana in “A Hero Awakens” as well as an in-depth look at the Prometheans in “Return of the Forerunners.” They also unveiled a new multiplayer map, Exile, which was playable on the show floor of PAX Prime in Seattle, WA.

What I have done is taken images from these videos and press releases, and turned them in to forum avatars for us to use. BS Angel was kind enough to allow me to choose 5 new images to upload to the Waypoint forums, but I figured that decision is better of left in the hands of the masses. So, fellow forum-goers, we have some deciding to do!

Below are images from “A Hero Awakens,” “Return of the Forerunners,” the new multiplayer map, Exile, Spartan Ops, and general campaign concept art nestled in to 5 groups. Your job is to choose ONE picture from each group to be represented in our community.

Think you are up to the task? Here’s what you need to do:

• Pick one image from each group.
• Create a reply to this thread with your favorite from each group.
• Voting closes Sunday at 12pm PST, at which point the thread will be locked.
• Winning forum avatars will be uploaded shortly after (shortly is relative).
• Losing avatars may still make an appearance at a later date, so never fear!
• Please, one vote per person.
