Do you guys think that the trailer represents a fate between the two Spartans? This is highly unlikely because it would possibly cause lore issues, but what if you chose between Locke or Chief? Would it be possible to do this? Who would you side with?
I had the same thought when I watched both trailers! It is possible to do, but I don’t really think they’ll do it. The idea is great, I just don’t see 343 doing that at all. Siding w/ either Chief or Locke depends on the situation, and if I do have the choice I’ll just replay the campaign again to see the other outcome.
Will not happen because of the lore issues that will happen as stated by OP, and Halo rides very heavily on the lore.
