For those of you who have been achievement hunting in the MCC I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that 343i have given some much needed love to everyone’s favourite Australian marine/helljumper.

Halo 3 - Can’t Keep Him Down: fight alongside the man. The legend. Chips Dubbo.
Halo 4 - You’re No Chips: what do marines know about sticks?
Halo 3:ODST - Two Places, Same Time: I’ve got my eye on you marine.
Halo ce -3 are self explanatory. Halo 4 doesn’t feature our intrepid companion, but the achievement references him. Halo ODST references the discrepancy between him being on ‘In Amber Clad’/ Delta Halo at the same time as being ecountered in the Streets of New Mombasa by Buck. As far as I’m aware these are the first official aknowledgement of his character (aside from the original Halo CE credits) which bodes well for his inclusion in future media. Personally I hope he will be reprising his role in Halo 5: Guardians and while I can only dream of a new novel/digital short story detailing how both he and Sgt Marcus P Stacker survived and escaped Installation 04, Installation 05 and Installation 00, perhaps with enough support, we can get a Canon Fodder!
