So I did this and definitely redeemed it in the old Halo Waypoint last year but don’t have the armor coating, nor have I seen anyone else with it.
Surely something must be wrong with that promotion?

I got it and am rocking it. Not sure why you didn’t get it, but I can at least confirm the promotion worked 
such a beautiful coating. coolest one in the game so far imo. I had no idea it was even a promo though.
