There are many halo fans from mainland China. Due to the known internet censorship and “the great firewall” aka GFW, Chinese players have to reach halo infinite server via VPN or SS.
Now everything has changed. The geofiltering unfortunately regionblocks us to the server on both Xbox console and PC.
How can this happen? How can 343i just abandoned Chinese players?
I think there the problem is more the Chinese government and its censorship.

But before they adopted geofiltering policy, Chinese gamers were able to connect and play at jpn server via vpn. It all happened AFTER the geofiltering that we couldn’t link to jpn server anymore.
