Halo 4 reveals up until this point have been met with an endless amount of whining. People have even gone so far already as to make page-long rants explaining why they aren’t going to buy the game (after only seeing about 15 seconds total of gameplay and hearing a few assorted facts about the multiplayer out of context). Can we, as a community, please end this childish behavior? Even for those of you who didn’t like Reach, didn’t you find SOME way to enjoy the game? Whether it was customs, matchmaking, campaign, or firefight.
Halo 4 will have stunning graphics, an amazing score, and a great campaign – at a minimum. I am also confident that there will be at least one or two playlists that will appeal to what everyone here wants (classic, no instant respawn, no forerunner vision, etc.). I also believe that custom games will be COMPLETELY customizable.
Don’t forget why we have gathered here on this forum. We are highly anticipating Halo 4 because we love the Halo series!
Frank O’Connor also said that most of the stuff in that GI magazine was “out of context”.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the kids will complain either way. If it’s too similar to the previous Halos, people will just complain they 343 are lazy, don’t know how to iterate and make comparisons to COD that its the same game every year.
If they change something, people will complain about how 343 have changed what they have love most and try to compare it to COD somehow.

The problem is, instead of saying why they dislike the changes in a calm and polite manner it’s more like, and I quote “IF 343 DOESN’T CHANGE THESE I’M GUNNA KILL HTEM ALL WITHA CHAINSAW!” Perhaps if people were more level-headed about it there would be a greater effect.
