Chiefs true self revealed!

According to 343, master chief is going to show his true self or something like that, im not sure of the exact words, but he is suppose show us a bit more of his inner self character. The fact that he will talk more in the campaign shows this already.

My guess is that IF cortana rages and chief has to shut her down, he will kneel down, take his helmet off and cry.

Now dont say that chief is tank and wouldnt do that, because he is still human. It would be upsetting like RDR. A long journey with a character, and suddenly… -BAM- they are gone. You couldnt expect chief not to cry after his long journey with her, considering their close relationship.

What do you guys think?

lolno

Nahhh chief’s a man, a manly man…

And besides they said in a halo 4 panel (don’t remember which one) that you are not going to see his face in halo 4.

I think what they meant was that we will learn more about his background, I don’t think hes gonna cry…

That doesnt mean he wont take off his helmet and cry in CE and Halo 2 he has had his helmet off and we haven’t seen his face so its still a possibility.

People read way too much into it.

And it was confirmed he will not cry

Chief has always been a very stoic kinda guy… and I don’t get how seeing his face is a possibility in H4 if they said “No. You will not see the chief’s face in Halo 4”

Well heres your answer everyone:)

Sorry i meant that they could do angles with him without his helmet and we not see anything.

The Chief was trained to be a soldier since he was six.

He has lost practically all his Spartan brothers and sisters.
He has seen entire worlds burned away.
He has watched millions of good soldiers die, some under his command.

His days of crying are gone. He was trained not to show much emotion.

Chief will definitely not cry.

But every man has a breaking point

They’re close, but I don’ t think its close enough to make a battle-hardened, trained since 6, military supersoldier cry.

i think the only breaking point chief would have is insanity, i dont think he would break down out of sadness, he dosnt have a family, he seems to have coped with the loss of his fellow spartans he would be upset with the loss of cortana but he would not break down over it. The only thing chief would break down over is probably some sort of extreme mental torture that would cause him to go insane.

Ohhh I see what your saying, my bad. But I still don’t think he will cry… He might just get mad but I don’t think we would see many other emotions from him, 343 wouldn’t want to change him that much on us their first new halo game… He’s a stoic hero who does what it takes to save the day

Maybe he just doesn’t want to show it, and is crying on the inside.

He is an expert in controlling emotions. He would likely have a lot of sadness inside, but won’t reveal it publically on the outside.

Halo: The Flood. Major Silva is calling Chief and his family freaks of a failed program. Chief doesn’t do anything in response except a slight twitch, but the words were hitting him hard.

no of course he wont, hes only a tiny bit less of a man than chuck norris (purely because chuck norris is god) so no he wont, he’ll shoot his way out!!

Most likely they would show him just standing their staring into space, like Bungie did when he stood over Johnson’s dead body.

They will die together, in Halo 6.
