Chief's consciousness gets digitised with Cortona?

Just wondering if this will be the safe out for 343 at the end of 6.
1 They take him out physically of the storyline but there is an opening to bring him back with an alternate physical form…
2 He gets to stay with Cortona and perhaps the first time he’ll be fully revealed
3 he’ll be freed up at the end of 5 by Locke faking Chiefs death then letting him finish his search for Cortona …
Pure guesswork but I think it may fit.

Nah. I think it will be Halsey who turns into AI if something like that happens. You would do it wouldn’t you Dr. Halsey?

Cortana has been confirmed to be dead numerous times now. Why would 343 bring her back after they made her death as convincing and poignant as they could? Bringing her back would be contrived and disrespectful to her character arc. Just let it go.

And these “reverse composition” theories seem like something straight out of fanfiction. It boggles my mind that people think 343 would seriously consider something that cheesy to be a good direction for characters like Master Chief and Cortana.
